Paul Roger

Paul Roger has been Facilities Lead Specialist at Society for Science since 1990, managing all aspects of the Society’s two historic buildings in Washington, D.C.

Paul began his career at the Society in 1985, when he was hired as a contractor working on the exterior of the buildings during a major renovation. He earned his way into a full-time staff position, serving as Mail Room Manager during the 1980s and 1990s. He manages the inventory of materials to and from the International Science and Engineering Fair host city every year. Paul is a favorite of other staff members, known as the guy who can fix or build anything, from stage sets to pulley systems. He is meticulously organized, and supports all of the Society’s education programs to insure that they run smoothly.
