Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Society for Science (the Society) announced that Yunseo Choi won the $250,000 top award in the 2021 Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors.

Judging will occur via zFairs video conferencing from May 3-6, 2021. Each day will be devoted to 4-6 categories and will be divided into three 3-hour periods. Finalists can find more information about the judging process below.

When Troy, Michigan seventh grader, Prabhath Inturi, heard that his friend’s grandfather had a serious falling accident while walking to a restaurant with their family, he began investigating the frequency and consequences of these kinds of accidents. His friend’s grandfather had sustained serious injuries as a result of the fall and couldn’t walk for weeks.
