I #Give2Science by showing my high school students that science has applications far beyond the classroom - Kathryn Hedges, Society Fellow
The Society is compiling photographs of how members of our community give back to science, whether that’s by teaching, doing research, performing experiments, inventing new things, participating in or supporting science fairs, mentoring young scientists, or even just looking at the world with a scientific gaze.
You can get involved by submitting photos of your own to firstname.lastname@example.org, or posting on social media using the Twitter hashtag #Give2Science.
One organization is proving to New Yorkers of all ages that science can be found everywhere.
The Society for Science & the Public announced that $65,000 in grants have been given to 20 extraordinary organizations supporting STEM education and science literacy.
