Rachel Myers

Rachel was the Society’s Communications Associate from September 2021 to July 2023. She contributed to blog writing and media pitching. Rachel came to the Society from Reno, Nevada where she worked as a news producer and weekend assignment manager for the local CBS affiliate, KTVN 2 News. There she produced several hours of breaking news coverage during the 2020 Downtown Reno riots, covered the 2020 Presidential and local elections, and kept the community informed during wildfire seasons and the ever-changing coronavirus pandemic. Rachel received her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno. During college, she worked as Student Content Editor at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.
