The 2022 Broadcom MASTERS top 30 finalists highlighted their research at the Broadcom MASTERS Science and Engineering Project Showcase during Finals Week in Washington, D.C.

Science News Media Group named a new Publisher. Michael Voss will be the senior executive responsible for the leadership of the media group’s business strategy and operations beginning in January 2023.

Middle School student Keertana Jillella is developing an app and automated process to scan backyards for snakes. She hopes this will prevent snake encounters and bites. Keertana was awarded the Lemelson Early Inventor Prize for her project.

Middle School educators gathered in Washington, D.C. in July for the Middle School Research Teachers Conference. Keynote speaker Laura Smith-Velazquez shared how important failure can be in STEM.
