In 74 years, the Science Talent Search has accrued many exceptional alumni. This year, the Society for Science & the Public invited the alumni for a private reception during the Intel Science Talent Search Public Exhibition of Projects.

The alumni were able to enter the exhibition hall early to speak with the finalists. Later, they gathered for a reception full of bright company, good wine, and delicious appetizers.

"I love interrogating the finalists," Gary Pisner joked. "They're very cool."

Daniel Fisher agreed. "It's been a while since I've been in school. I have to take a referesher course before heading out to speak with the finalists."
