Fungi could be the next eco-friendly packaging

Middle school student Finnegan Miller has a love for fungi that led him to research eco-friendly packaging options. Finnegan is working to develop a packaging alternative that will allow him to ship a package made from mushroom roots. He received the Lemelson Early Inventor Prize for his project.
