Science Talent Search – Evaluator Recruitment

Society for Science is currently recruiting premier scientists, engineers, mathematicians and medical professionals to serve as Evaluators for the Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science research competition for high school seniors. Evaluators have the privilege and great responsibility of reviewing application packages and cutting-edge research submitted by the nation’s brightest high school students.

2023 STEM Action Grantees

Society for Science is proud to support the 2023 STEM Action Grantees. A total of $245,000 will be given to 53 dynamic community-centric STEM organizations spanning 24 states and Washington, D.C. Funding for this year’s STEM Action Grants program comes from Regeneron and Science Sandbox, an initiative of the Simons Foundation.

Society for Science Names New Chief Advancement Officer

Monday, July 10, 2023: Society for Science has named Dawn Abel as its new Chief Advancement Officer, where she will be charged with providing the strategic vision and leadership necessary to support the Society’s aggressive program growth priorities and long-term strategic objectives. Abel comes to the Society from the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History where she served as their Deputy Director of Advancement and significantly increased the museum’s fundraising productivity, leading efforts to raise funds for its $150 million Our Shared Future Campaign.
