George Yancopoulos

Notable Alumni: George Yancopoulos competed in the 1976 STS. Dr. Yancopoulos is currently President, Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Chair of Regeneron’s Board of Directors. He co-founded the biotechnology company with fellow STS alumnus Leonard Schleifer, and together they developed the ability to consistently translate science into medicine.
