About Hayley Bay Barna
Hayley Bay Barna is a Venture Partner at First Round Capital and entrepreneur known for co-founding Birchbox — a beauty box company and leader in the subscription business model. After graduating from Harvard Business School, Barna was Birchbox’s co-CEO for five years, overseeing marketing, operations and strategy for the company, as well as raising over $70 million in venture capital. Hayley has been recognized as one of Fast Company’s “Most Creative People in Business,” Fortune’s “40 Under 40” and Ad Age’s “Women to Watch,” among other honors. Barna was a 2001 STS finalist and serves on the Society’s Board of Trustees.
Barna is passionate about supporting and increasing diversity in venture capital investing.
