Regeneron’s commitment comes as the Society has created a new multitiered sponsorship model to support different judging categories, events and delegations of ISEF finalists. The Society is continuing to seek additional sponsors who are similarly committed to furthering the future of science and engineering, and will be announcing new sponsors in the coming weeks and months.

The 2019 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair featured over 1,800 young scientists selected from 423 affiliate fairs in more than 80 countries, regions and territories.

Alumni – Regeneron Science Talent Search – 2017

The following evaluation criteria are used for judging at the ISEF. As shown below, science and engineering have different criteria, each with five sections as well as suggested scoring for each section. Each section includes key items to consider for evaluation both before and after the interview.

Students in grades 9-12 or equivalent must compete in a Regeneron ISEF affiliated science fair and win the right to attend Regeneron ISEF.  Each affiliated fair may send a pre-determined number of projects to ISEF (as calculated by participation and high school population) to compete in 22 different categories.

The Advocate Program is a peer-led year-long professional development program that aims to support educators and mentors working to increase student participation in STEM research competitions. The Broadcom Foundation and Society for Science & the Public (the Society) announced on September 18 the selection of 30 middle school students as finalists in the 2019 Broadcom MASTERS® competition.
