Lanyards chock full of pins: Intel ISEF 2019 kicks off with a cultural exchange

The student pin exchange ceremony was the introductory event of the 2019 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). It was an exciting icebreaker in which student finalists exchanged pins representing their own countries and introduced themselves to fellow competitors. As the world’s largest international pre-college science competition, Intel ISEF is a vibrant showcase of the intelligence, diversity and collaboration that will drive scientific research forward. This is just a small sampling of the camaraderie and joy that was shared between participants.
