About Sheel Tyle
Sheel Tyle showcased his talent and curiosity starting in middle school when he competed in the 2005 DCYSC. Later he competed in 2006, 2007 and 2008 ISEF competitions before graduating from Stanford University with a B.A. in human biology and public policy at age 19. He is Founder and Co-CEO of Collective Global, an investment firm spanning early stage and venture growth stakes. He is also Managing Partner of Amplo, a venture capitalist firm he launched in 2017 to “build companies that matter,” including notable names like Robinhood, Shopify, and Andela. He was included on the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2013. Tyle also serves on the Society’s National Leadership Counsel.
At the 2017 ISEF, Tyle spoke on a panel of alumni about the significance of the Intel ISEF to the broader scientific community. Tyle highlighted the ability to learn from failure, as well as the importance of scientific innovation from young people.
Speaking on behalf of Collective Global, Tyle discussed the state of the market and the important work being done by Collective Global.
