About Gideon Yu
Gideon Yu is a technology executive and venture capitalist as well as co-owner and former president of the San Francisco 49ers — the first president of color in National Football League history. Previously, Yu was Chief Financial Officer of both Facebook and YouTube and led YouTube’s sale to Google. Yu competed in ISEF in 1989 with an environmental science project, a topic that he remains passionate about today. Yu is a member of the Society’s Board of Trustees.
