Sept 29, 2025: Society for Science is seeking an experienced Grant Writer to help secure institutional funding for our STEM Outreach Programs. The Grant Writer will play a key role in identifying new partners and strengthening existing relationships with private and corporate foundations.

The Thermo Fisher JIC, a program of Society for Science, aims to inspire young scientists, engineers and innovators who will solve the grand challenges of the future. This year’s cohort asked bold questions about the world around them, including how we can better steward natural resources, protect human health, harness the promise and pitfalls of artificial intelligence, and design resilient technologies for the future.

Sept 2025: The managing editor leads editorial processes for the Science News print magazine, including planning coverage, managing production workflows, and ensuring that the magazine meets our high standards of accuracy, timeliness and accessibility.
