Willie T. Reaves, Jr.
Willie T. Reaves, Jr. is Head of Public Engagement for Cellino, a start-up biotechnology company making personalized, autologous cell therapies accessible for patients. Prior to joining Cellino, Willie was Chief Business Strategy Innovation Officer at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), where he headed product development for a software platform that connects life sciences companies to facilitate investment & drug development partnerships. He also led the team that earned BIO a Guinness World Records™ title for the world’s Largest Business Partnering Event.
Previously, Willie was a government and NGO project manager and teacher in South Korea and Argentina. Prior to that, he worked with the Patent Group at the Emory University Office of Technology Transfer. A lifelong tech enthusiast, Willie ran a technology consulting company for 7 years. He holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Emory University and a Certificate in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.
Willie is an alumnus of the International Science and Engineering Fair 2007 and 2008.
