William J. Bencze

William is currently a software engineering manager at Apple, focusing on enhanced GPS positioning for iOS devices. William was a co-founder and VP of Engineering at Coherent Navigation, a technology startup creating precision navigation solutions for compromised/jammed environments acquired by Apple in 2014. Previously, William was an instrument scientist and program manager at the NASA/Stanford Gravity Probe B Relativity Mission (GP-B), testing general relativity with orbiting gyroscopes. William earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
