Michelle Hackman

Michelle Hackman is a reporter in The Wall Street Journal’s Washington, D.C. bureau, where she covers immigration policy. She previously covered national education policy, and the social, political and cultural forces shaping education in society. Other past beats include health policy and campaign finance. Her work has appeared in many news outlets, including Neiman Reports, Vox and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. She received her B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Yale University.

Michelle is an alumnus of the Science Talent Search 2011.
