As this year comes to a close, we face new challenges to the progress of science and to the continued emphasis on STEM education in our country.

Since 1921, the Society for Science & the Public has been the trusted public voice for the sciences. We provide reliable, credible and thoughtful coverage of scientific news through award-winning journalism that you can see in each issue of Science News.

We also remain committed to nurturing the most promising students in STEM fields who are our future researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs. It’s no secret that our world renowned science competitions have been a launching point for talented students who are now advancing scientific knowledge. This respected group includes 14 Nobel Laureates, 20 MacArthur “Genius” Fellows, Lasker Award winners and many other noted researchers, inventors and entrepreneurs.

By making a tax deductible gift to the Society for Science & the Public, you will ensure that we can continue our 95-year legacy. We know that in the years to come, the Society for Science & the Public will continue to be the trusted voice for the latest advances in science and we will continue to nurture the most promising students, many from underserved populations, in all STEM fields.

Your generosity gives the Society the resources we need to ensure that science remains a priority in our society. Your gift made before December 31 will make all the difference in 2017.

Donate to the Society now.
