Inside the Expo Hall at Intel ISEF 2013
Thursday, May 16th was a big day in the Intel ISEF Expo Hall. More than 4,000 local students, teachers, and families visited booths devoted to everything from reptiles to robots to space exploration. Interactive displays let students use beakers and bulbs to learn about energy, see a giant to-scale Jupiter balloon dwarf the Earth balloon, weigh themselves on scales calibrated to different planets, test their video game and brain teaser skills, compare shark teeth specimens … and even met a charming prosthetic-tailed alligator named Mr. Stubbs! Along with lots of science-related fun, visitors found information about college programs and career opportunities around the country. The Intel ISEF photo booth let them capture this one of a kind experience.
