Intel ISEF 2015 Grand Awards Ceremony

May 15, 2015, Pittsburgh, PA – Society for Science & the Public, in partnership with the Intel Foundation, announced Grand Awards of the Intel ISEF 2015. Student winners are ninth through twelfth graders who earned the right to compete at the Intel ISEF 2015 by winning a top prize at a local, regional, state or national science fair.

Eleven Society for Science & the Public (SSP) science fair alumni attended the fifth White House Science Fair today. All eleven students were participants in at least one of SSP’s prestigious science education programs, which include the Intel Science Talent Search, the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, and the Broadcom MASTERS.The students participating were Nikhil Behari, 14, of Sewickley, PA; Kelly Charley, 16, from Teec Nos Pos, AZ; Bluye DeMessie, 18 from Mason, OH; Anvi

Noah Golowich, Andrew Jin and Michael Hofmann Winer each received first-place awards of $150,000 at the Intel Science Talent Search 2015, a program of Society for Science & the Public. The top winners and other finalists from across the United States took home awards totaling more than $1 million.

The Intel Science Talent Search, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious pre-college science and math competition, recognizes 40 high school seniors who are poised to create new technologies and solutions that will positively impact people’s lives.
