Charlotte Francoeur
Charlotte joined the Advancement team as an Advancement Senior Specialist to help establish and cultivate funding partnerships to support ISEF.
Before joining the Society, Charlotte pursued a career in academic science and focused on the intricate interactions between insects and microbes. She worked at various institutions, including University of Wisconsin – Madison, Rutgers University – Newark, and the United States Department of Agriculture. During her time as a researcher, she was drawn to outreach opportunities that engaged local communities and promoted science as an integral part of life.
Charlotte earned her B.S. in Microbiology with a minor in Black Women’s Studies from University of Maryland – College Park and her Ph.D. in Microbiology from University of Wisconsin – Madison.
