Society for Science CEO Maya Ajmera spoke with Lisa Su, CEO of AMD about her experience as a woman in STEM as part of the Conversations with Maya series.

The Society for Science has named Thermo Fisher Scientific as the new title sponsor of its middle school STEM competition. Thermo Fisher Scientific is only the third title sponsor in the competition’s 25-year history.

The National Leadership Council is composed of alumni leaders from Society for Science’s science competitions and represents diverse ages, demographic groups, geographic regions, professions and discipline areas.

Science News in High Schools is now Science News Learning. Schools will continue to receive 10 copies of Science News about every two weeks, putting students at the center of their learning journey.

Society for Science announced the 45 community-based STEM organizations receiving $176K in STEM Action Grants. Grant funds will be used to develop inclusive STEM learning opportunities for groups historically underrepresented in STEM fields.
