Support the Society on #GivingTuesday 2013

SSP is participating for the second year in #GivingTuesday, a one-day fundraising effort held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The concept behind #GivingTuesday is to create a national day of giving at the start of the holiday season.

Today (Tuesday, December 3), SSP is joining other nonprofits nationwide to encourage our supporters to get involved.

SSP relies on the support and generosity of our donors and sponsors to deliver award-winning journalism through our Science News family of publications and to continue to build the impact of our renowned competitions and educational programs.

•    Inform, educate, and inspire the public about science and its many wonders
