Brendan Maguire

Brendan Maguire joined the Society for Science in 2024 as the Specialist for STEM Competitions, where he provides administrative support for the International Science and Engineering Fair as well as other Society programs.  He earned his B.S. in Chemistry from George Washington University in 2021.  Before joining the Society, Brendan was the Assistant Director of a math tutoring center in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, DC, where he created individualized lesson plans based on students’ needs.  Previously, he served as an AmeriCorps math fellow and an 8th grade math teacher, both at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School in DC.
