Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair
Over 1,600 young scientists hailing from 49 states and 64 countries, territories and regions came together to compete in the 2023 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair, where they won nearly $9 million in awards and scholarships. Convening in Dallas, Texas, the fair was the first fully in-person ISEF since 2019.
Coming together at the world’s largest pre-collegiate STEM competition, finalists presented research spanning 22 different categories, from animal sciences to translational medical science. Beyond the judging and the competition, the finalists also took part in a week of enrichment activities — including interactive panels featuring STEM leaders, a student mixer, and Education Outreach Day, where students from around Texas visited the fair to learn from the finalists.

Why I Volunteer
Connecting with Young Innovators
“Volunteering at Regeneron ISEF is an enlightening experience. There’s something special about being surrounded by so much youth potential, especially as an educator who wants a bright future for all my students. Volunteering at Regeneron ISEF is an experience I highly recommend. It’s a special experience and unique from all other fairs I’ve seen. I consider it a privilege to assist these intelligent young minds, who will be our STEM leaders, innovators and game changers one day soon.”
