Alumni Special Award Committee
Become a part of our inaugural Alumni Special Award Committee to fund, judge, and award one or more student finalists at the 2025 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Columbus, Ohio.
As an alumnus, you know what it was like to compete as a student – and now you have the chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at ISEF while having a crucial impact on a new generation of science leaders.

Ways to Participate

Fund the Award
Help us fund cash awards to one or more student finalists selected by our judging committee. Every contribution goes toward recognizing the brightest young minds in STEM.

Set Criteria and Screen Projects
Join our committee to drive additional donations, set judging criteria for this year’s awards, and short-list projects for in-person judges to evaluate.

Participate In-Person as a Judge
We are seeking Alumni Special Award Judges to join us on the exhibition floor in Columbus, Ohio on May 13 and May 14, 2025, to interview and judge student projects.

Watch this video by Committee Chair Anna-Katrina Shedletsky to learn more about the process to pre-screen projects and judge on-site at ISEF. If you have any remaining questions, feel free to contact us at alumni@societyforscience.org.
Thank you for supporting the innovators of tomorrow.
“Participating in the International Science and Engineering Fair changed the trajectory of my life. Doing the work taught me how to think, how to persist, and how to present. Competing set me on a course to attend a great university and ultimately, to become an entrepreneur.”
– Anna-Katrina Shedletsky (ISEF 2003 & 2004; STS 2004)
