Transportation & Parking
Free event parking is available on M Street between 16th and 17th Street at the National Geographic Society.
If arriving by Metro Rail:
Red Line: At the Farragut North stop, take the L Street exit at the far north end of the platform. At the top of the escalator at street level, turn left (east) and walk one block. Turn left on 17th street and walk 1.5 blocks. The National Geographic Society will be on the right side of the street.
Orange/Blue Line: At the Farragut West stop, exit towards 17th Street. Walk one short block east (in the same direction as the escalator leading to street level). Turn left (north) on 17th Street. Walk 3.5 blocks. The National Geographic Society will be on the right side of the street.
Entering the Building:
Please enter the National Geographic Building through the M St. entrance. As you enter the courtyard, please come in through the glass doors on the left, past the boulders and water feature.
