Kathlene Collins, Chief Marketing Officer, oversees circulation marketing, advertising and content licensing for the Science News Media Group. She oversees organization-wide marketing efforts including the Society’s website. She is one of three founders and the former publisher of the online professional journal Inside Higher Ed. She spent 20 years at The Chronicle of Higher Education, where she was associate publisher from 1993 until 2003, navigating the profound (and exciting) disruptions taking place in higher education and the publishing industry. She developed The Chronicle’s career website, winner of several industry awards for excellence.
