How to Help
Nina is Founder and Director of Brainstorm: Stanford Laboratory for Brain Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and also serves as Chief Resident in Psychiatry, Stanford School of Medicine. She is a physician, entrepreneur, and co-author of the Amazon Best Selling book Do Good Well, praised by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Muhammad Yunus as ”the primer for social innovation.” At Intel ISEF 2002, she was awarded the $50K Young Scientist Award and the SIYSS Award for her research on visual learning, conducted through the Research Science Institute. Nina has held positions at the Office of Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan at the World Health Organization, McKinsey, and as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Venrock. She received an A.B. in Government and an M.D. from Harvard University.
