Who We Are
What We Do
How to Help
The Society is participating for the third year in #GivingTuesday, a one-day fundraising effort held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The concept behind #GivingTuesday is to create a national day of giving at the start of the holiday season. This year, #GivingTuesday will be held on Tuesday, December 2.
Your donations provide support for our mission: promoting the understanding and appreciation of science and the vital role it plays in human advancement. By contributing, you will help the Society inspire young scientists, encourage scientific discoveries, and engage the public about why science is vital to our common future.
In addition to #GivingTuesday, don’t forget that our #Give2Science photo project continues. We’re compiling photographs throughout the holiday season of how members of our community give back to science. You can submit photos of your own to firstname.lastname@example.org, or post on social media using the Twitter hashtag #Give2Science.
