Zeyu Liu from Calgary, Canada won a trip to tour CERN, a trip to the European Union Contest for Young Scientists in Prague, a Best of Category Award in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and the K. Soumyanath Memorial Award at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) 2013. Zeyu was also previously a finalist at Intel ISEF in 2011.
Meghan Shea, a Intel Science Talent Search 2013 finalist, wrote a blog post for us about her experiences and the opportunities Intel STS helped open up for her- including winning the Next Generation Award from Popular Mechanics and traveling to Kenya as part of the Microsoft YouthSpark Challenge for Change.
GoDaddy is one of approximately 70 organizations that offered Special Awards at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) in 2013. Special Award organizations select their own judges and criteria for determining winners. Intel ISEF 2013 was the first time GoDaddy sponsored awards at Intel ISEF.
The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition. More than 1,000 judges are needed in order to review projects from the more than 1,600 finalists who will travel from around the world to compete at Intel ISEF in Los Angeles this May.
