Nancy Boyd

Nancy Boyd is the Executive Assistant at the Society. Nancy is an experienced assistant to executives, having served in that capacity at such organizations as the National Women's Law Center and the National Geographic Society before coming to the Society for Science & the Public. Her background also includes being a lead teacher in the Wake County School System in North Carolina. Outside of the workplace, Nancy has volunteered at a variety of nonprofits, most recently at a horse rescue in northern Maryland. She has also served on the boards of several nonprofits focused on animal rescue and rehabilitation.

Nancy holds a B.S. degree in history from East Carolina University and a Masters of Administration, focusing on Nonprofit Organizational Management, from Trinity Washington University.
