Carole Russo

Carole Russo joined the Society for Science & the Public in July 2016. She is the Director of Institutional Giving. Carole has been actively involved in fundraising and business development for more than 15 years, focused on bringing funders together to create change across multiple industries. Most recently she secured corporate, foundation, and individual funding for an international science cooperation non-profit that used the power of science diplomacy to bring about sustainable peace and economic prosperity globally. Prior to that, she built partnerships internationally at consumer technology and banking trade associations, including the largest consumer technology event in the world.

Carole has an M.B.A. from Georgetown University and a B.A. and B.S. from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In her spare time, she volunteers as a fundraiser and board member at Encore Stage & Studio, igniting the spark of theater in young people.
