How to Help
Allie Hewlett Stifel is the Director of the Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious competition for high school seniors. Allie also leads the STEM Action Grant program, a small grants program for innovative organizations and social entrepreneurs.
Allie joined the Society in February 2012, initially to manage the Society Fellows Program and Education Outreach Day at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) — a day of educational activities for 4,000 local students. Allie proudly led the Broadcom MASTERS national middle school science and engineering competition from January 2013-May 2017, and the Broadcom MASTERS International program, held annually during Intel ISEF for 24 middle school students from 19 countries.
Allie grew up in Shelbyville, Kentucky and is an alumna of Intel ISEF 2003 and 2004. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Wake Forest University and her master’s degree from Baylor University. Allie lives outside of Washington, D.C. with her husband, Drew, and her pug, Betty.
