Abril Hunter

Broadcom MASTERS 2013
Abril is a rising third year at Florida State University where she majors in Environmental Science and Policy and minors in Urban and Regional Planning. In 2021, Abril was a DEIJ Intern for the Chesapeake Bay Research Consortium. She also has experience as a Science Communication Fellow at Washington University, St. Louis, Tyson Research Center and as an Environment Florida Student Outreach Intern. Most recently, Abril was recognized as a 2021 NOAA Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship Award Recipient. Abril aspires to make tangible changes in the life of minorities facing environmental injustice in housing through advocacy work for a government agency.

Regan Williams

Broadcom MASTERS 2017, 2018
Regan is a junior at Hoggard high school in Wilmington, North Carolina. She started competing in science fairs in the 4th grade and was chosen as a Broadcom MASTERS finalist in 2017. In high school, Regan has gone on to compete at 2021 ISEF. She is interested in the ecology and conservation of coastal ecosystems, particularly with regard to their role in mitigating the effects of climate change.
Fun fact: Regan has two budgies named Caspian and Corbin!
