In the beginning, there was a guy. But the guy was without reason or purpose. And so Society for Science & the Public said "Let him be an Intel Finalist." And so he was an Intel Finalist. And it was good, because then he got to stay in a posh Washington, DC hotel for a whole week and eat at fancy restaurants and meet cool people and present his boring research and stuff. And it was good. But he was still without reason or purpose.
