Judges require a PhD, or Masters' degree with six years experience. Interpreters and volunteers do not require scientific training.
Denise Gordon, a 2012 SSP Fellow, teaches science at the Applied Learning Academy (ALA) in Fort Worth, Texas. Her research program introduces students from both her class and the International Newcomer Academy (INA) to data collection and hands-on research.
John Neill from Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom was one of 18 delegates selected to attend the first-ever Broadcom MASTERS International program.
