Each year more than 1,500 student finalists from approximately 70 countries, regions, and territories around the globe earn the right to attend Intel ISEF as a result of winning a SSP-affiliated fair at a local, regional, or national level. Finalists in 2012 competed for over $3 million in total awards and prizes and were judged on their creative ability and scientific thought, as well as the thoroughness, skill, and clarity shown in their projects. SSP and Intel are honored by the partnership of organizations who provided Special Awards at the Intel ISEF 2012 (listed below). The list of organizations offering Special Awards at Intel ISEF 2013 will be available on April 1, 2013.
