SSP, with generous support from Intel, is pleased to announce the fourth year of the SSP Fellowship. The SSP Fellows Program provides funds and training to selected U.S. science and math teachers of under-resourced students. The Fellowship supports high-quality, independent scientific research by interested and motivated students.

 The SSP Fellowship

The SSP Fellowship provides teachers financial and training resources to support and inspire the success of their most enthusiastic science students. Fellows are competitively selected from across the U.S. and may serve for up to four years. SSP Fellows guide students to produce project-based research of the highest quality.  The SSP Fellowship Program will not accept new applications for 2013, but will continue to fund all existing Fellows through the expiration of the grant.

2012 SSP Fellowship Class Named

Competitively selected from a national entrant pool of high school science and math teachers from26 states and Puerto Rico,each Fellow will receive: (1) $8,500 in 2012 directly for their classroom and community; (2) full support to attend the Fellows Institute to be held July 30-August 4, 2012 in Washington, DC; and (3) ongoing training and resources from SSP.

The 2012 class of Fellows includes teachers selected from rural and urban areas, large and small communities, and schools that serve under-resourced communities. They are:
