Submission of this form is a statement of your willingness to serve as a
Volunteer Grand Awards Judge at the Intel International Science and Engineering
Fair to be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in May, 2012
Society for Science & the Public of Washington, D.C. is the non-profit agency that conducts
this international event, and they set the criteria for becoming a judge, which
read as follows:
Judges must have a B.A., B.S. or a masters degree with a minimum of six years
related professional experience OR a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent.
Judges may include university faculty, industrial scientists and engineers,
representatives of private and federal research centers and agencies, and
medical researchers. Affiliated science fair directors, ISEF official
party members, individuals traveling to the ISEF with an official party,
parents or relatives of a finalist, chaperones, mentors or elementary or secondary teachers may not
be eligible to judge.
Judges are expected to be available from Tuesday afternoon May 15 through Wednesday
evening May 16, 2012 to complete their judging assignments. Please provide the
information requested below if you desire to be a judge. We will contact you, after
we receive your application, by e-mail (preferably) or regular mail. Thank you for your
participation.

Please be sure to submit your complete name, full mailing address,
at least one phone number where you can be reached and most important,
if available, your e-mail address. You must provide your first choice
of category and subcategory (discipline). There is a look up table
provided for selecting a category/subcategory pair for both your first
and second choices.
