Intel ISEF 2013: Finalist Exhibiting

  1. Project ID: After SSP receives your information as well as information from your fair, you will be sent an email with your project identification number, which also serves as your booth number. Please use this number for the shipping of your project display board. This number and other updated information will be posted on the SSP website; you are encouraged to return to the website periodically in the weeks ahead of the Intel ISEF for any updated information.
  2. Courtesy Call: SSP staff will review all documents and Intel ISEF forms received. If a problem is discovered (e.g., missing signatures or forms) we will attempt to contact you  via email or phone call to allow you to correct the problem prior to your arrival at the Intel ISEF. However, completion of required forms is the responsibility of finalists. Your responsiveness is essential to ensure your participation in the Intel ISEF.
  3. Shipping Your Project: See the General Shipping document for detailed information about shipping. No projects will be accepted BEFORE April 18 or AFTER May 9. You will have several options for shipping your project; if via UPS, you must arrange for a return shipping label at the time of initial purchase.
    • Buy a Project Board at Intel ISEF: An alternative solution to shipping your project is to purchase a blank project board onsite at the Intel ISEF and assemble onsite. Project boards are white, 2-ply cardboard, 48" x 48" in size and include an optional header board. (Click here for illustration with dimensions.) Project boards with headers will be available for sale for $10 each at the Intel ISEF store in the convention center.
  4. Display & Safety Checklist(pdf):Use this checklist to help check that your project display meets all of the Display & Safety requirements detailed in this D&S training powerpoint (pdf).
  5. Project Set-Up (pdf): Project Set-Up begins on Sunday, May 12 at 8:00 a.m. for all registered finalists. If you requested a table for your display on the Finalist Questionnaire, one will be set up for you upon arrival; if you indicated the need for an electric power source, an outlet will be accessible near your booth. Many other resources will also be available, including the Finalist Resource Center that will contain computers with limited software, a copying machine, and other items such as scissors and tape to help in completing your project display. In case your project board is damaged or lost in transit, please plan to bring electronic copies of your board and report as a back-up.
  6. Project Alerts (pdf): This document highlights details about displaying your project at Intel ISEF throughout the week.
  7. Judging Information and Judging Criteria (pdf): The Judging Information document describes the judging schedule and process at Intel ISEF 2013 and the Judging Criteria document provides the criteria that the judges will be provided to aid in their evaluation of projects.
