The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2013 will be held May 12-17 in Phoenix, AZ. SSP seeks volunteers to serve as judges, interpreters, and to provide general support. Judges require a PhD, or Masters' degree with six years experience. Interpreters and volunteers do not require scientific training.
Denise Gordon, a 2012 SSP Fellow, teaches science at the Applied Learning Academy (ALA) in Fort Worth, Texas. Her research program introduces students from both her class and the International Newcomer Academy (INA) to data collection and hands-on research.
John Neill from Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom was one of 18 delegates selected to attend the first-ever Broadcom MASTERS International program. Broadcom MASTERS International is a companion program to the domestic Broadcom MASTERS that provides a unique opportunity to attend the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for select middle school students from around the world. Delegates participate in a program structured specifically for them, as well as participate in various facets of Intel ISEF.
